Robert Lopez Garcia, “Soupy”,
56, of Tolleson, passed away at his home on May 3, 2012. He was born on October
5, 1955 in Los Angeles to Mary & Roman Garcia and moved to Arizona at an
early age. Robert was a business entrepreneur in the upholstery industry, and
was also involved in the Boy Scouts of America. But one of his greatest
accomplishments was when he found and lead his family to the Lord.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Ann Garcia; his daughters, Andrea (Rick) and Alicia (Victor); his sons, Daniel (Tracy) and Antonio (Tina); his mother, Mary Garcia; his brother, Michael (Ludres); and also 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday,
May 9 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Old Town Avondale. Funeral
service will take place at 12:00pm, with Pastor Augustine Chacon officiating.
