William Emil Werner, 62, of Phoenix, passed away May 1, 2012. He was born October 15, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Arizona in 1972. William was an operator in the construction industry, and was a veteran of the Army, with his last rank achieved of Spec-4 and worked in artillery.

William is survived by his sons, William Werner Jr and Jason Werner; his brother, Junie Werner; and also 4 grandchildren, Blake, Anthony, C.J. and Hunter.

Committal service will take place on Friday, May 11 at 9:30am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in William’s name be made to the Veteran’s Administration or Carl T. Hayden Veterans Hospital, Phoenix AZ.
