Mario Armando Ruocco

Mario Armando Ruocco, 83, of Avondale, passed away on March 12 at Hospice of the Valley Palm Valley of natural causes.  He was born August 14, 1928 in London, England to Vincenzo Ruocco and Livia D’Amato. Mario moved to Arizona in 1980, and was an entrepreneur. He had worked as a supervisor for the Department of Economic Security, and was the gift shop director of Pueblo Grande Museum in Phoenix. Mario had lived in Belize, was a veteran of the British Army, and was also a member of the Rotary Club.

Mario is survived by his wife, Stephanie Karlin, also of Avondale; his daughters, Stephanie Ruocco Jenkins and Alessandra Megan Ruocco; and also one sister, Alba.

A celebration of life will take place in early June.
