Pasqual D. Aguilar, age 72, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning after battling a prolonged illness. He was in his home surrounded by his loving family. Lifelong Phoenix resident and retired City of Phoenix employee. He was passionate about his involvement in Labor Union AFL-CIO Local 1297 and served as their Union President prior to retiring in 1995. He was a church member at Our Lady of Fatima Church and sang in the choir. After retirement he devoted his time to coaching a little league baseball team and volunteered at Villa De Paz and Sonoran Sky Elementary Schools.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years Esther Aguilar, children Yolanda, Robert, Lorrie, Donald, Rosemary. Son-in-laws Raul and Jose and Daughter-in-law Lisa. Nine adored grandchildren Raul, Anthony, Chelsea, Bobby, Alyssa, Richard, Michael, Angelica and two great grandchildren Anthony and Anthony James. His brother John, sisters Lydia and Josephine as well as extended family and friends who adored him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, located at 1418 South 17th Avenue in Phoenix. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation starting at 10:30am, also at Our Lady of Fatima officiated by Father Bud Pellitier Jr.
