Rosa Maria Chavez, 58, of Tolleson, passed away on January 21, 2015 at her residence surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on January 28, 1956 in San Jose, California to Antonia Moreno Guzman and Eliseo P. Guzman. Rosa moved to Arizona in 2005, and was a semiconductor test specialist.

Rosa is survived by her husband, John Chavez; 1 daughter, Yvette Chavez; 2 sons, Juan and Carlos Chavez; her parents, Antonia Moreno Guzman and Eliseo P. Guzman; 1 sister, Zoila; 4 brothers, Mike, Ramiro, Eliseo and Jose; and also 3 grandchildren, Juan Jr, Santiago and Sebastian.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale. A rosary will be recited during the visitation by Rosa’s twin brother, Mike, starting at 7:00pm.  The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 29 at 9:00am at the Living Word Church of Ahwatukee, located at 14647 South 50th Street in Phoenix. Interment will immediately follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, located at 10045 West Thomas Road in Avondale.

El perder a un ser querido en la muerte es tan doloroso que la misma bibla la llama, nuestro "ultimo enemigo" que nos persigue a todos (1 Corintios 15:26). Sin embargo, no estamos sin esperanza, ya que nuestro Creador promete que muy pronto "El realmente se tragara la muerte para siempre y el Senor Soberano Jehova limpiara las lagrimas de todo rostro...". Que consolador saber que pronto Jehova Dios junto con su hijo, Jesucristo pondran fin a la muerte y en Juan 5:28,29 leemos que despertaran todos nuestros seres querido que han fallecido a una "resureccion". Otros textos que ofrecen consuelo son Revelacion 21:4 y 1 Pedrp 5:7 que le animo leer en su biblia o puede leerlo en linea en jw.org/es. Que la paz de Dios este con usted y su familia en estos momentos dificiles.

    You will truly be missed my heart mourns that I can not see you but my heart has accepted the thought that your no longer in pain. I will miss all the Raider jokes from you and all the laughs we shared. I love you Cosenteda!

  5. My baby sister not in my wildest dreams did I think I would be spending your birthday at funeral home. I am not ready to see you go. My selfish heart wanted to keep you here with me.     The hardest part of losing someone is having to say goodbye to them and I really hate saying goodbye this way but please know that the many wonderful memories of you and the family will always be in my heart forever. I will miss all of those phone calls and long talks that we had. And I will always remember you not only as my sister-in-law but as a very good friend. Thank you for all the memories!
