Celia C. Reyes, 61, of Avondale, passed away on January 29,
2015 in Goodyear. She was born on May 17, 1953 in Tolleson, Arizona to Anita and
Thomas Carrasco. Celia was a homemaker, and spent much volunteering for the
local food bank.
Celia is survived by her husband, Luis Alfonso Reyes; 1
daughter, Maria Del Rosario Reyes Carrasco; 1 son, Luis Reyes Carrasco Jr; 2
sisters, Isabel and Rachel; 3 brothers, Joe, Frank and Albert; and also numerous extended family and friends. She is preceded
in death by her parents, Anita and Thomas Carrasco; 1 sister, Gloria; and also
1 brother, Jesse.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February
4, from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western
Avenue in Old Town Avondale. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. A funeral
service will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 10:00am, also at Avenidas
Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Gustavo Arteaga officiating. Interment will
immediately follow the service at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, located at
2300 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix.
