Linda Sue Marquis,
64, of Buckeye, passed away suddenly surrounded by family on May 20, 2014 in
Phoenix, Arizona. She will be deeply missed. Linda was born on
October 11, 1949 in Summerspoint, New Jersey to Norman Barrett and Ruth Pettit.
Linda was a
waitress at the Sheep Camp Restaurant in Buckeye for 10 years. She most
recently was a Community Manager at the Buckeye Senior Apartments.
Linda is
survived by 2 daughters, Valerie Marquis and Joan Garza; 1 son, Phillip
Barrett; her parents, Ruth Rathbone and Norman Barrett; 2 sisters, Kathy Cooper
and Jennifer Mendez; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A visitation
will be held on Tuesday, May 27 from 5:00pm-6:00pm at First Southern Baptist
Church of Buckeye located at 405 North 3rd Street in Buckeye. A service will follow the visitation at 6:00pm,
with Pastor Artie Woodcox officiating.

Linda was my best friend and favorite cousin. I sure loved this gal. I still can't believe she's gone! Love to all my family in Arizona. God bless you, bebbie hickman hall.
