Damian Lofton, 37 years young of Glendale, Arizona reunited with the Lord Tuesday, April 30th 2013.

Damian was born to William and Anna Lofton on November 10th 1975 and raised by his dad, William and step-mom Donell Lofton.  He had 7 siblings, Charles Lofton, Jeni  Lofton (Stowell), Marianne Lofton, Ferrell Lofton, Ferrelli Lofton, Joshua Lofton, and Vanaa Lofton.

On November 21st 1998, he joined in marriage to Marie Chalfant, but their life together began in 1993 when they were 16 and 17 years old.  Their oldest daughter, Gabrielle Marie was born to them on Nov. 19th, 1995 and their youngest daughter Kacie Lynn was born to them on Dec. 19th, 1998.  His 3 girls were his life, and his pride and joy.

Damian was employed throughout his life doing construction in roofing (taught by his dad) and framing (taught by his good friend, Joe Hoffman).  He loved coming home from work to his little girls and having them ask “What’s in your lunchbox daddy? Do you got any treats?” Which he always did for them.

He loved music, spending time with his girls and wife, taking his dogs on walks, and spending time with his friends in the neighborhood, (Todd and Trina) and many others.  He also enjoyed spending time with his brother Charles who he was especially close with and trusted.  Damian was a man that did not hesitate to express his love for others, he wrote poems for his 3 girls often, and he told them how much they meant to him on a DAILY basis.  When he loved people, he let them know.

Survivors include: his wife of 14 years, Marie Lofton, his two daughters, Gabrielle Lofton and Kacie Lofton, his mother, Anna Lofton and his step-mom Donell Lofton, two brothers, Charles Lofton and Joshua Lofton, four sisters, Jeni (Eric) Stowell, Marianne Lofton, Ferrelli Lofton, and Vanaa Lofton, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his dad, William Lofton, grandparents,  his baby brother, Ferrell Lofton and our dog Cody.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 12th at 2:00pm at the Camelback Community Church, located at 7634 West Camelback Road in Glendale.  Pastor James Kordon will officiate.

  1. God bless you Damian. Your love for Marie and the girls are a true testament of what kind of person you are behind your tough looking exterior. You will be missed but I know you will still look over your girls!

  2. Damian, I wish I had gotten to know you better. Distance prevents me from a lot of things. However, I can hear it in Marie how much you mean to her. You helped raise two beautiful, intelligent daughters. Your place on this Earth will never be removed because of the lives you touched. I just want to thank you for helping to shape Marie into the beautiful, strong person and mother that she is today. Keep them safe until you are with them again.

  4. If ever there was a mans man, Damian is that man, always full of life and love. A man that always accepted responsibility, stood up for the little guy and last but not least put nothing before his wife and daughters, Damian had a smile that could illuminate a black hole and a heart big enough to pump blood through the veins of the largest creatures you could imagine. Knowing Damian is knowing that our Father and Lord did create us in his image, a true miracle in life through-out his life and certainly a gift from the Lord up above, I Love you Brother and thank you for sharing your life and family with me.

  6. THEY SAY; LIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE, BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY....His smile was breath taking and his love so sweet. He was never so proud that he couldn't show his love for you or cry if he wanted to. Strong as steel and yet soft as velvet.what a man..But he faught a good fight and has won the battle and now he has his crown to lay at the feet of his savior. He can't come back to us; but we can go to him when we make Jesus our Lord like Damian did. To the girls in his life; Honor your daddy and be as strong as he was; go after your dreams; LIVE dont get stuck here. Live. You can do it ; you have your daddy's DNA. love Aunt Sally
