Donna Rae Carpenter, 73, of Goodyear, entered into eternal peace
on January 10, 2013. Donna was born on May 24, 1939 in Endicott, New
York. Prior to moving to Arizona many years ago, Donna started her career
of helping others through illness and retired in Arizona doing the same as a
healthcare provider.
Donna is survived by one son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Sherry; and three grandchildren, Brittney, Zachery, and Ashlyn.
Beloved mom, grandmother, and friend, Donna was always helpful and energetic. Known by many as “grandma”, she took this title to heart and enjoyed life, poolside parties, margaritas, and family gatherings.
A special thanks to the Serenity Hospice Staff and Comfort Home Care staff for the professional care provided. Private services were held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Serenity Hospice Foundation, 7227 N. 16th Street Suite 170, Phoenix, Arizona 85020, 602-216-2273.
