I will always remember Joe picking me up in the morning to take me and Xylina to school. I can remember it being super cold and him trying to get his old white truck to warm up and the smell of gasoline and coffee! It is one of the most vivid memories of Joe. May he rest in peace. -Monique

Hi Dad,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to first of all say thank you for being my dad and for letting me be your son. Thank you for the wonderful memories we have had together. Especially the good times fishing together, even though I hardly caught a fish I enjoyed our bonding time in "The Lake Shores of Kiabab!" I will miss having you around the house. You always put a smile on my face with your special words you would always say like, FayFay! La puerta! By the thousands, wired, swivel ham, que ta bro!, and play it by ear. I always wanted to make you proud of me and I thank you for being my inspiration because you were a very hard worker. I love you and miss you already dad, you will always be in my heart. I am the man I am today because of you and I will never forget that. Oh tell Maish I'm sorry.

It was good to see u again couple weeks ago, just wish it had been under different cirumstances. Rest well my friend. If you will, tell my grandmother yaya that i love and miss her everyday. ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to the Perez family. Xylina & Samantha may you find comfort within the grace of God during these difficult times. Joe I didn't know you very well but the times that I had been around you did always make me feel welcome as if we had known one another for as long as I had known Margaret. Her and I did go to High School together and one time we had gone to one of the families parties and this is where she met Joe, and it went from there. He was great man, a great father, and now grandfather. May you rest in peace and find comfort from all that ailed you. God bless you & all your family, may you now rejoice with the lord. May peace and comfort be with you all.
ReplyDeleteAlways,
Doris Lopez
