Micheal George Russell, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away at his residence on March 30, 2012. Micheal was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 9, 1961 to Aubrey and Virginia Russell. He moved to Arizona over 31 years ago, and worked at the Civic Plaza for the City of Phoenix, and also for United Blood Services. Micheal also worked part-time at Macy’s.

Micheal is survived by his two lovely children, daughter, Brittany Russell, and son, Micheal Russell; his sisters, Tanya Guyton, Cynthia Woods, and Michelle Ball; and also his brother, Andre Clark. Micheal is preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Jason Clark.

Micheal George Russell was a beloved man and a great father, brother and friend. He loved his family more than anything. He was a kind, free-hearted person who was always laughing, or had a smile on his face. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 7 at 2:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Old Town Avondale.

  21. On behalf of the blood bank at Phoenix Children's Hospital, we'd like for Michael's family to know what working with him meant to us over the years. Michael always had a kind word for everyone, and even during hectic situations he brought us a smile along with life-saving blood products. We will sorely miss him.
