Julio Cesar Hernandez, 56, of Tolleson, passed away April 11 in Peoria. He was born on December 13, 1955 in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, México to Maria Inez and Ramiro Antonio Hernandez. Julio moved to Arizona in 1958 and was a long time resident of Tolleson. He became successful by establishing his own business in industrial recycling.

Julio is survived by his loving wife, Maria Sanjuana Hernandez; his daughters, Bertha Hernandez and Lydia Hernandez; his son, Julio Cesar Hernandez Jr; his mother, Maria Inez Hernandez; his sisters, Estella Arce, Margaret Garcia, and Maria Moses; his brothers, Ramiro Hernandez Jr, Mario Hernandez, Gustavo Hernandez, and Juan Hernandez; and also two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Antonio Hernandez Sr.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Old Town Avondale.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tolleson. A procession will follow the Mass to his final resting place, Holy Cross Cemetery.


Julio César Hernández, de 56 años, de Tolleson, falleció el 11 de Abril en Peoria. Nació el 13 de Diciembre de 1955 en Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, México a María Inés y Ramiro Antonio Hernández. Julio se mudó a Arizona en 1958 y era un residente de mucho tiempo de Tolleson. Julio estableció su propio negocio en el reciclaje industrial.

Julio sobreviven su amada esposa, María Sanjuana Hernández, y sus hijas, Bertha Hernández y Hernández, Lydia, su hijo, Julio César Hernández Jr, y su madre, María Inés Hernández, y sus hermanas, Estela Arce, Margarita García, María y Moisés, y su hermanos, Ramiro Hernández Jr., Mario Hernández, Gustavo Hernández y Juan Hernández, y también dos nietos. Le precedieron en muerte su padre, Ramiro Antonio Hernández Sr.

El velorio será Lunes, 16 de Abril de 5:00 pm-8: 00pm en la capilla funeraria Avenidas en la vieja Ciudad de Avondale. La misa funeral se celebrará el Martes 17 de Abril a las 11:00 am en la Iglesia Católica Blessed Sacrament en Tolleson. Una procesión seguirá la Santa Misa a su lugar de descanso final, el cementerio de Holy Cross.

  2. It would be impossible to remember and thank you brother for all that you did for me growing up. My parents and older siblings helped shape the core of my being. To my sister Juana, thank you for making my brother complete, and loving him like no other. And lastly to all my family, you made me so proud with your strength and commitment, and dedication during these difficult times. I know my Mother is proud and I am certain Dad smiles upon us all when we are together. I too, am at peace knowing God is in control of all things. I will see you again, travel well my Brother..
