Amelia Sanabria, 84, of Phoenix, former resident of Litchfield Park, passed away at The Ryan House in Phoenix on February 20, 2012.  She was born October 4, 1927 in Garden Grove, California to Juan and Francisca Valdez. Amelia moved to Arizona in 1965 and was a homemaker.

Amelia is preceded in death by her husband, Efrain Sanabria. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Gaucin; her sons, Mario Gaucin, Sergio Gaucin, and Miguel Sanabria; her sisters, Lucy, Eva, Nena, and Biki; her brothers, Armando, Alex and Jesus; and also 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granchild.

Visitation will held on Saturday, February 25 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at 522 East Western Avenue in Avondale. A rosary will be recited at 1:00pm.
