Aqua Folks, 51, of Avondale, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Goodyear.  She was born on July 28, 1964 in Phoenix to L.T. Folks Sr and Mary Lue Folks.  Aqua graduated from Agua Fria High School in 1983.  Upon graduation, she became an Office Clerk for Luke Air Force Base.  Aqua was a very loving and caring person.  No matter what she may have been going through, she was always full of laughter and smiles.  She is the true definition of a “FIGHTER”, she had been through so much, but not once did she complain.  She took every situation for what it was without letting it stop her from living her life.

Aqua is survived by her mother, Mary Lue Folks; four brothers, Mickey Johnson, L.T. Folks Jr, Cleveland Folks, and Terrell Folks; three sisters, LaShella Folks, Nicole Folks, and Sylvia Folks; 3 nieces and 11 nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, L.T. Folks Sr.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30 from 9:00am-10:00am, at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale.  A service will take place at 10:00am, also at Avenidas. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery (East), located at 4310 East Southern Avenue in Phoenix.
