Ruben Chayrez, 70, of Avondale, passed away on February 29, 2016 in Peoria.  He was born on November 17, 1945 in Glendale, Arizona to Merced & Albina Chayrez. Ruben was raised in Arizona where he lived his entire life. The proud owner of a landscaping company, Ruben was a hard worker as well as a good family man.

Ruben is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ema; one son Raul; and one brother, Alex. He is survived by 2 sisters Gloria and Stella; and 7 brothers, Ernest, Henry, Robert, Vicente, Raul, Merced, and Tony.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, at 12:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale.  A service will take place at 1:30pm, also at Avenidas Funeral Chapel.
