Wilfrid Ray Aldebot Sr, 73, of Avondale, passed away on July 8, 2014 at his home in Avondale.  He was born on October 29, 1939 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Jose-Gabriel Aldebot & Elena Altagarcia-Pastor.  Wilfrid moved to Arizona in 1985, and was a food service provider and a retired property owner & manager.  He was also a veteran of the United States Marines, and had tour of combat in Vietnam.

Wilfrid is survived by his wife of 15 years, Anita; 3 daughters, Yvette, Yanette, & Annette; 4 sons, Wilfrid A., Pierre, Ulysses, & Jose Luis; 3 sisters, Carmen, Fiorea & Lucy; and also 6 grandchildren.

Wilfrid was a proud marine and also a dancer, which he had performed at Radio City Music Hall.  He was also in NYPD’s 12th precinct, a property owner/manager, and also donated his time serving meals to children.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale.  A Committal Service at National Memorial Cemetery of Phoenix will take place at a later date.
