Reyes B. “Tilingo” Montaño, 67, of Tolleson, passed away on February 6,
2014 in Sun City West, Arizona. Reyes was born in Tolleson, Ariozna on
April 20, 1946 to Dionicio and Maria Montaño.
Reyes is survived by his wife of 46 years, Eva Montaño; 2 sons, Raymond and Rene Montaño; 3 sisters, Beatriz Garcia, Rosalie Orona, and Mary Montaño; and 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Reyes Montaño II; parents, Dionicio and Maria Montaño; 5 sisters, Mercedes Montaño, Carmen Montaño, Jessie Meza, Soledad Guzman, and Esperanza Chavira; 2 brothers, Dionicio Montaño and Demesio Montaño, and 1 granddaughter, Desiree Montaño.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 9:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 512 North 93rd Avenue in Tolleson. A rosary will be recited at 10:00am, with Mass being celebrated at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery located at 10045 West Thomas Road in Avondale.
