Gregory Allen Harnish, 62, of Goodyear, passed away on October 25, 2013 at his home in Goodyear.  Gregory was born on June 14, 1951 in Huntington, Indiana.  He moved to Arizona at the age of 5. Gregory was a retired postal worker of 37 years.  He was also in the US Army.
 
Gregory is survived by his wife, Susan K. Harnish; 1 daughter, Amy L. Hayhurst; 3 sons, Chadwick J. Harnish, Dak Hodge, and Sam A. Hodge, Jr.; 2 sisters, Valarie Beach and Tina Aldana; 1 brother, Jimmy Beach; and four grandchildren.
 
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale.

  2. Uncle Greg you were an amazing Man, Father, Uncle, Brother and friend. I'm so thankful and grateful that God had chosen you to come into our lives. I know you are watching over all of us. Because you were a man who would do whatever it took to take care of us and make sure we were all ok. You are missed tremendously and always will be. I love you so much more than you will ever know. And not 1 day will go by that you are not in my thoughts or prayers. I love you Uncle Greg and I will see you later because it is not GoodBye. Love Always, Your Niece Andrea....

I so sorry that i was not there for you and that i took our friendship for granted i have so many regrets Susan and you were my best friends and in all reality you were my mentor you taught me so much about life and the way things are supposed to be ive missed you guys so much and regret anything that i did to mess up our friendship I love you brother and hope for forgivness and hope when i see you again we can start our friendship where we left off i will miss you deeply until we are reunited your friend Tony
