Hortencia G. Morado, 94, of Tolleson, passed away on September 11, 2013 in Tolleson, Arizona.  Hortencia was born on May 13, 1919 in Harlingen, Texas to Luis and Gumecinda Garcia.
 
Hortencia was a long time member of the Tolleson Senior Center.
 
Hortencia is survived by 4 daughters, Aurora Rodriguez, Amparo Mathews, Alicia Morado, and Adriana Morado; 5 sons, Arnulfo, Armando, Alvaro, Alonzo, and Abel Morado; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.  Hortencia was preceded in death by her husband, Jose T. Morado; 1 son, Antonio Morado; her parents Luis and Gumecinda Garcia; 4 brothers, Fermin, Rafael, Lazaro, and Francisco; 3 sisters, Manuela, Maria, and Juanita.
 
Hortencia was a resident of Tolleson for 56 years.  She epitomized grace and lived her life for the betterment of her children and her community.  She took great pride in the fact that she voted in every election.  In her honor, her family urges you to vote.
 
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Tolleson Senior Center.
 
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13 at 9:00am, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 512 North 93rd Avenue in Tolleson.  A rosary will be recited at 10:00am, to be followed by a Mass at 11:00am.  Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, located at 10045 West Thomas Road in Avondale.

Mi Querida Tia Hortencia, deseo con todo mi corzon que se reuna con mi Mama, Juanita, MamaGumen,su esposo, todos sus hermanos y hermanas,Tony que han de estar celebrando su Gloriosa venida para reunirse ahora con ellos y con los Angeles.
