Diana Mongales Figueroa, 52, of Avondale, lost her battle
with renal failure on August 24, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. Diana was born on December 3, 1960 in Tempe,
Arizona to Pedro and Elena Figueroa.
Diana is survived by her husband, Jaime Ruiz Figueroa; 2
daughters, Josephine and Trinidad Figueroa; 1 son, Michael Figueroa; 2 sisters,
Mary Figueroa and Del Figueroa; 2 brothers, Ramon Figueroa and Pete Figueroa;
and 1 grandchild.
Diana was a loving mother and a strong woman who fought her
illness for 14 years.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29 from
10:00am-12:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at 522 East Western Avenue
in Old Town Avondale. Burial will take
place immediately following the visitation at Holy Cross Cemetery, located at
10045 West Thomas Road in Avondale.
Deacon Jim Cassio will officiate.
