Joe “Jody” Dominguez, 66, of Buckeye, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2013 after a long illness. Joe was born in Morenci, Arizona on May 20, 1947 to Remijio and Julia Dominguez.

Joe was a Senior Water Quality Inspector for the City of Phoenix.  He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Joe is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.

Joe was a greatly loved and respected man.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19 at 7:00pm at Estrella Vista Reception Center located at 1470 North Eliseo Felix, Jr. Way in Avondale.

  3. I knew Jody in Morenci. Although I didn't know he was living in this area, I remember him. We also attend St. Johny Vianney. May the Lord give you peace, comfort and strength. A fellow Morenci graduate...Sylvia Sigala Allen

  4. I knew Jody in Morenci and my early years at the U of A. I will definitely miss him for although we haven't seen much of each other the last 20 years we shared a great childhood in Morenci. Jody was my best man at my wedding and he set up a fantastic bachelor party. What I will always remember about him is that he was a tireless worker and a person that would always stand by you. One of the most fondest memories of him was that we filled up my truck with aluminum cans and glass bottles on the road to Safford. We did this to get in shape for football and to earn some money. We had several projects like this that were challenging but always fun because I was sharing them with Jody! Thank you Jody for being my friend!!! Our most sincere condolences to his loved ones.
