Gilberto Rodriguez, 78, of Avondale, passed away on July 11, 2013 in Goodyear, Arizona.  Gilberto was born in Laveen, Arizona on January 7, 1935 to Jesus and Jesus Rodriguez.  Gilberto was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

 

Gilberto is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carmen Rodriguez; 1 daughter, Jesus Araceli Rodriguez; and 1 son, Juan Carlos Rodriguez.

 

Gilberto was a great father and a loving husband.

 

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 22 9:00am-10:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 539 East La Pasada Boulevard in Goodyear, followed by a rosary at 10:00am. A Mass will immediately follow at 10:30am, with burial to follow at Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery, located at 3000 North Santa Fe Trail in Avondale.
