Jovita Garcia, 63, of Tolleson, passed away on February 21, 2013. Jovita was born February 15, 1950 in Tecolotlan, Jalisco, Mexico to Timoteo Melchor and Maria Rosa Morales.  She moved to Arizona 7 years ago, and she was a homemaker.
 
Jovita is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ariel Garcia; 2 daughters, Natalie Garcia and Vanessa Garcia; 1 son, Jose Melchor; 4 sisters, Herminia Sevilla, Juana Naranjo, Alicia Melchor, and Luz Estela Melchor; 3 brothers, Felipe Melchor, Miguel Melchor, and Lorenzo Melchor; and 4 grandchildren.
 
A visitation will be held on Friday March, 8 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.  A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, located at 6807 West Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix.  Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, located at 2300 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix.

    My husband and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of your wife, Jovita. It is such a hard thing to go thu, especially when it's your mate. The Bible, which is God's Word, shows that the earth is going to be transformed to a beautiful paradise in the best of conditions! There is also going to be a resurrection. John 5:28,29 says this: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,..."
