Henry Jason Ponce, 26, of
Tolleson, passed away on March 27, 2013. Henry was born November 29, 1986 in El
Paso, Texas to Sergio and Martha Ponce.
Henry is survived by his
parents, Sergio and Martha Ponce; 1 sister, Isabel J. Ponce; 1 brother, Adrian J.
Ponce; and grandparents, Sebastian and Maria A. Ituarte.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30 from
2:00pm-4:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in
Old Town Avondale.

My best memory I have of Henry is sitting with him on the sofa while gently tickling the inside of his arm, every time I tried to stop he would pick up my hand for me to continue. It was a very special moment for me to be allowed to do this as he did not like to stay still for long. He was a very strong willed individual who I will always remember. Even though I could not attend I will be holding a silent moment today for him. Today starts a hard road to recovery for his family; know that I am with you.

ReplyDeleteI want to express my sympathy to the family and especially to Martha because I too lost my daughter, Amy Sue, at age 12. It's a really hard thing. What helped me was the Bible promise of a resurrection. John 5:28,29 says: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,..." So we will be able to see our loved ones again. I hope this is encouraging to you.
