Donald James Williams, 67, of Phoenix, passed away on December 11th, 2012. Donald was born in Denver, Colorado on November 5th, 1945. He was a handyman and could fix anything with just duct tape, a screw driver, and a paperclip. Donald is survived by his sons, Donald(Dj), Willie, Paul and, Shawn Williams; his daughters Rosa, Leeanne, and Jennifer; his brothers and sisters in California; his grandchildren, Markie, Jacob, Jarred, Alec, Austin, Luke, Felisha, Teya, Bryanna, Alexis, Autumn, Heaven, Heather, Caylie, and Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Jacoby, and Autumn.
 
Donald, or Pop's as we called him, was a kind hearted man with so much love to give. If any one was ever in trouble, he would do just about everything he could and more to help them out. He was a like a second father to everyone he knew.  A memorial service will be held at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 East Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale, on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00PM.

  1. We wish to express our sorrow at Don's passing. Our prayers go out to the family. Don was a very kind man who was always willing to help others. He came to the rescue of me and my daughter at a time in our lifes when we needed help. He changed our lifes for for the good. For that he will always hold a special place in my heart.
    Don will be missed by many.

  2. My uncle don also known as hot dog was a very good giving person and he Helped us through very rough times. We would always have BBQ's And go swimming. But we have to remember all the good times we had with him because I know that that's what he would want know he is in heaven rejoicing with the lord uncle don will be missed and he will rest in peace -love butterfly,watermelon,potato,Nehemiah,and ethan
