“The Fallen Limb”
A limb has fallen from our family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
“Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.”

Please feel free to share your condolences with the family and also your thoughts with friends. Perhaps a short funny moment or cherished time you spent with this loved family member who will sorely be missed and forever remembered.

  1. Are they truly gone?
When a love one walks on to be with the Great Spirit creator of all.
Are they truly gone? No I say they stay with us in a different form.
They become the Sun which warms are face, like they did with their hands.
They become the Moon whom watches over us at night. With the love only a loved one can give.
They become the Wind whom softly whispers. I love you in our ears.
They become the Butterfly which lands on our face to kiss us ever so gentle.
They become the Bird whom sings a song of love. Just for us to hear.
They become the Rabbit whose gentle ways remind us of them.
They become the Dog whom is always loyal and true.
They become the Cat whom purrs on our laps. And want only selfish attention just from us.
They become the Flowers with grace and beauty that can only touch our soul.
They become the Trees which we build our homes that make us feel safe and warm.
They become the Plants we eat that nourish our mind and bodies.
They become the Warm Waters that wash our sorrows away.
They become the Mother Earth on which we stand on for strength.
So you see my Dear Loved One they will always be near.

  2. I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief; don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

I will miss her so much and I love all of you!
