Goodyear, Arizona

Danielle Elizabeth Evers, 26, of Avondale passed away February 7, 2012 in Goodyear. Danielle was born November 13, 1985 in Mesa to John & Diana Evers.

Danielle was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. From her earlier years of winning a Miss Congeniality award up until her last days, this aspect of her never faltered. She had a deep concern and empathy for other people and was extremely non-judgmental. She was full of love and in fact, one of the mottos she lived by in life was, "Peace and Love". She loved to laugh, loved to smile and loved to live life to its fullest. She has been described by many as a free-spirit, and that she was.

Her inner beauty shined through as a young child and also as a beautiful woman. She made so many friends who loved her dearly because they could see this inner beauty inside of her and because she was so kind to everyone. She was also extremely kind to animals and loved them very much, from furry to slimy, she just loved critters! She had spoke often of wanting to work with animals in some sort of veterinary practice and she had many aspirations such as this for her life. She loved to read and was also a great fan of supernatural novels, movies, T.V. shows and the like.

Her biggest passion by far though, was a passion for music. She had a voice like an angel and I can still hear her singing on a choir stage in elementary school, "There’s a bluebird singing in a meadow..." And she was that bluebird, with such a beautiful voice. She had such a great talent, singing, and we'll all remember her singing in our hearts. She could also dance like no other and loved feeling the beat and the rhythm of the music and just dancing her heart out.

She loved so much, as was said, she lived by the motto of, "Peace and Love", but she truly did love so many things in life and so many people. There is no love, however, that can compare to the love that she had for her 5-year-old son, Vince. Vince will know through memories, pictures and stories, just how much his mother loved him, as he was her entire world.

She will be missed tremendously by her family: her parents, John and Diana, her two sisters, Crista and Scarlet, her grand-parents John and Lyda, her uncles, Gary, Danny, David and Sean and of course, by her son Vincent.

“And of all God’s wondrous creations, Danielle, you are the most beautiful by far, the shooting star”

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 15, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale.

Please feel free to share your condolences with the family and also your thoughts with friends. Perhaps a short funny moment or cherished time you spent with this loved family member who will sorely be missed and forever remembered.

Danielle, you were not only my lifelong sister, but my best friend. I will never forget all the memories we made together as little girls and as young women. I love you so much and I wish I could have told you this more, but I know you knew, as I knew you loved me dearly. We will be Irish twins forever. I will always look up to you when it comes to treating people kindly and with nothing but love in my heart, because that's how you were. I know you saw me as the elder and the one to teach you, but really, you have taught me so much and I want to thank you for that. Forever in my heart, my soul, my mind, I love you.

  8. Danielle,
I've tried to write this a million times. Everything ends with me holding down the backspace key. I can't find the words to express my love, our friendship and my heartbreak for everyone. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

  10. Dear D,

I am so saddened that you are gone. I am doing the best I can to spread the word so that friends who moved away know that you aren't with us anymore. I wish you could've come to visit me in NM like we had planned, and that I could've had seen you smile one more time.

I'm not going to be able to make your memorial because of work and living in NM. I wish I could go. I know you are smiling down on all of us though, especially your family and Vince.

You know what they say though, the good die young. My thoughts and prayers are with your family (especially your parents, sisters, and Vince).

I love you and when I see you again someday I hope we can dance to some silly music and drink a mimosa. And reminisce about the times people thought we were sisters working together! ;)

  11. My Dear Friend,

Never did I expect our final good bye would come so soon, when our first meeting seems like it were yesterday. It feels as if we were just the other day sitting in your room listening to music, going to the Mall, hanging out at Jessica's. We complain because we feel old, we shouldn't need something like this, a young beautiful mother torn from our lives to realize just how precious ever second of ever day really is.

You were such an amazing friend, there wasnt a time I came to you with a problem you wernt there ready to help. Thats who you were, never asked questions just offered up your help. You are so so loved Danielle, I wish I could have seen you with your son. I know you will guide him through his tough times and help him grow into a great person.

Every time I hear a song I know you loved (which is alot!) I will hear you singing along with me! :-) Those will be my favorite memories of our time together. I love you so much and my heart goes out to all your other friends and family as I know how much you effected my life, I can only imagine how the rest feel. Be a rest with your struggles, as peace with your soul, and fly like the Angel we all know you are.

Good bye my beautiful friend <3

  13. Danielle, I cant help but think of you every day now, and its weird because I will go from crying to smiling when I remember the good vibes you brought into a room. That smile and free spirit always put me in a good mood and made me want to spend time with you. I will always remember our time together watching for shooting stars and it pleases me to know now I can look at the sky and think of you when I see one. I know you were trying to get better and get over the past, but I guess He decided it was time to move on. Vince has a great mom and is old enough to never forget the bond you shared. Rest in peace, Danielle; I will be looking for you in the sky!

  15. Danielle, your family and friends will miss you terribly. But your loving spirit will go on through your beautiful son, Vince! I am proud to say I had the pleasure of meeting you. You had a natural kindness and warmth about you, that was easily seen in your beautiful smile! My loving prayers to your parents, your sisters, and your son, may they find comfort in the loving memories of you........

  16. When I must leave you for a little while,
remember the fun times that made me smile.
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears,
or allow the sorrows to grow throughout the years.
But start out daily with a brave and gallant heart,
knowing some day we will never be apart.
And for my sake and in my name,
live on and do all things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
but fill each walking hour in useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near.
And never, never be afraid to die,
for I am waiting for you in the sky.

    Dear Evers family,
We share your sorrows and pray for your strength. We love you and pray that in time our Sweet Lord Jesus will fill your broken hearts with healing grace to carry on the legacy of Danielle's life.
We love you, the Walker Family

  17. Diana,
I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I did not have the privilege of knowing your daughter, however in knowing you, I am certain that she was a caring, wonderful person. This world is surely diminished without her. Love and light to you.

  18. Diana,
On this most difficult of days my heart is with you. I know firsthand that nothing compares to the loss of a child. Though I never met Danielle I can see that she was a radiant and beautiful Spirit (much like her mom) and how much love and joy she brought to the lives of your family and her friends. My heart is broken and full of sorrow for your loss and my thoughts and prayers have been with you since I heard the news of her passing. Though it may not seem like it today...with time...you will begin to heal. In the meantime, let the love and prayers of your family and friends as well as the joy that the good memories of Danielle will bring buoy your spirits and bathe your hearts in warmth, love and peace giving you strength and courage ...and may He hold you in His arms until you can hold her again.

  19. Everything Comes Back to Nothing
Inexplicably it comes. When you least expect it. For a reason you can never know. One moment you are striving, figuring, imagining, and then, in the blink of an eye, it all disappears. The struggle disappears. The striving disappears. The person disappears. The world disappears. Everything disappears, and the person is like a pinpoint of light, just receding until it disappears. And there’s nobody there to witness it. The person is gone. Only, only awareness remains. Nothing else. No one to be aware. Nothing to be aware of. Only that remains itself. Then it’s understood, finally and simply.

  20. Danielle,

You have touched so many lives and inspired so many people to do better for themselves! I dont think I know a single person that is so carefree and loving and just an all around free spirit as YOU! You really were the most non judgemental person around!

You will always be in our hearts and so many little things will be a reminder of your awesomness! Your lil man is a spitting image of you and he is so lucky to have had you as a mother. Your family will take such good care of him and everyone knows you will always be shining down on him as he grows into a big strong outspoken loving man!

Thank you for always being a great friend! I carry a new perspective on how life should be lived and you will always be a shinning sparkly star in the midnight sky.

  21. I read this poem at the service yesterday and based the setting off of picture of a meadow of lilac Danielle had recently posted on my Facebook page. I imagined us as little girls again.

    "Sparkles"

Sparkles glistening down from your lustrous jewels for eyes
Don't try and hide it, I'll hold your hand, I'll kiss your cheek
I'll hug you so tightly and never let go
    I'll lead the way
You'll show me how to love, to be kind, and I'll show you how to stay strong
We'll run through a meadow of lilac and smile as we gaze through the sea of purple, our favorite color
We'll share secrets, tell stories, sing songs
Lie in the grass while butterflies float above our heads and birds sing with us in unison
While kittens and puppies run and play all around us
We will stare at the clouds and wonder what lies ahead, in life after death
We will know that no matter what, our souls are eternal, our bond is eternal
You are my sister, you are my love, you are my best friend, and I will never let you go
And no matter if one day we part, no matter how far away you are...
I'll go back to that meadow, lie in the grass and gaze at the stars
And when I see them shimmer and sparkle, I'll think of you
I know you will always be there with me, sparkling.

  22. Danielle, It seems like only yesterday you and your family moved to North Carolina. Thinking back now that was over ten years ago! How we cherish those memories looking back at photographs. In John 3 verse 27 we are told, "a man can receive nothing unless it has been given from Heaven". The Lord Jesus has truly blessed us in that He gave you to your parents and grandparents and your cousins in NC for these last 26 years. We loved each other and laughed together as families do. We miss that time with you but our lives will go on here on earth. While we who are left behind grieve your loss we know that your passing is part of a greater plan God has in store for our lives. All hope is in Him and we are all praying for your mom and dad, grandparents and sisters at this very moment. We love you all... "May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus"(Philippians 4:7).

  23. My thoughts and prayers are with Danielle's family. She was a beautiful girl and surely continues on as a beautiful spirit watching over her family.
I hope you find strength as you move forward in life by remembering all the joy she brought to you.

  24. Danielle,

We went to school together for many years, but we never got to be close friends... Your passing has touched so many people, even those of us who didn't know you very well. And though we were merely acquaintances, I could recognize that bubbly spirit and ear to ear smile, ANYWHERE! Though you're gone, nothing can take away the memories we all have of you, and I hope your beautiful boy Vince grows up with that same infectious spirit, and shares it with everyone! :) You have reminded us all just how short life is, and I feel that we will all start living with a little more "Peace and Love" in our hearts! Thank you for blessing us all. Rest peacefully Danielle.. <3

  25. Danielle,

I miss you deeply. I was on my way to work the other day and I saw these two younger girls in a car... laughing and dancing. Reminded me of us. I miss those days with you. I miss your laugh... Our phone conversations that lasted for hours. I miss everything about you. I love you so much<3 I still feel this is all just a dream and I'll hear from you soon. I hope to see you on the flip side. I love you, baby girl.
