Esperanza Salazar Garcia, 90, of Avondale, passed away December 14, 2014 in Goodyear. She was born on January 15, 1924, in Litchfield Park, Arizona to Guadalupe Reyes and Manuel Salazar. Esperanza was a homemaker, raising 4 children with her late husband, Salvador Garcia.

Esperanza is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Garcia. She is survived by 3 daughters, Margie Morales, Brijida Villasana, and Paula Garcia; 1 son, Salvador Garcia Jr; 1 brother, Roberto Salazar; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and also 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22 at 9:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, located at 539 East La Pasada Boulevard in Goodyear. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30am, followed directly by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
