Patricia Ann Smith, 73, of Avondale, passed peacefully in her home on June 23, 2014, surrounded by her family. Patrician was born on August 26, 1940, in Harvey, Illinois to Earl and Olive O’Lena.  Patricia was the fourth of six children; preceded in death by her older brothers Marvin and Max.   Patricia moved to Sacramento, California with her four children Bill, Renee’, Gary, and Julie.  Patricia met Dennis Franklin Smith and they were married October 8, 1971.  They had one more child, Nichole Dennise Smith, and their family included Dennis’ daughters Jeri and Dena.  Patricia and Dennis were blessed with 19 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren.  Patricia moved with her family to Litchfield Park in 2002.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Ann, and her husband Dennis Franklin Smith.  

 

Services will be at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 East Western Avenue, Avondale, Arizona, 85323.  Visitation will be Saturday June 28, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a funeral service following at 1:00 pm.  She will then be going home to be laid to rest with her husband Dennis in Elk Grove, California.
